Sadly, the hand-writing’s already on the wall. Due to government mandates and CAFE standards Corvette announced the discontinuation of the iconic 427 engine some time ago. I feel going to a hybrid powered Corvette will truly be the beginning of the end for America’s high performance sports car. Going to a hybrid Corvette will IMO destroy the marque….hybrid power is not what the Corvette is about.
