If the Leap Wireless deal is about acquiring wireless airwaves, then U.S. Cellular could also catch the eye of a larger wireless player looking for capacity. U.S. Cellular parent Telephone & Data Systems Inc. (TDS, $25.69, $1.51, 6.22%) shares also rose, while NTELOS Holding Corp.
