The story, an incoherent mess that I stopped paying attention to after about 10 minutes, is one of them. At first, it feels so disjointed that this might as well be Unit 13, an early Vita game that seemed to almost completely lack a narrative. You'll play as Danner and work for both the ISA and the Helghast before the adventure's over, but it never ever really matters. None of the characters come to life, and, really, you'll just focus on the shooting and the purchasing of weapons and never once care whom you're killing or why.
